中北大学学位论文 中北大学学位论文 Abstract With the popularization of higher education in China, the college enrollment scale unceasingly expands, and accordingly the number of college graduates has increased year by year. For a variety of reasons, in recent years university students’ employment difficulty becomes more and more serious. Whether college students can be employed after graduation or not has attracted wide attention of the government, school, society, and all parties. The study about the existing problems and countermeasures of current college students’ employment situation will be beneficial for the construction of the socialist harmonious society and be helpful for promoting higher education’s modernization and sustainable development. This paper begins with the study about the college students current employment situations, employment characteristics and social problems caused by employment difficulty. Based on the above-mentioned research, the paper analyses the reasons of college graduates’ employment difficulty from the perspective of the present economic situation, social security, law, education environment, employing mechanism, employment idea, etc. Finally, the paper proposes that the following means, namely, expanding the government’s macro-control ability, deepening the reform of higher colleges and universities, improving the graduates’ comprehensive quality and strengthening the duty of employing sectors, will be efficient for employment dilemma of college students to be solved.
