The mobility was expressed in terms of Rfvalues. TheRfvalues shows the order Co Ag Zn Cu Pb.The results have been explained on the basis of a pH , hydrate formation of ions of trace elements and complexation with soil and fly ash in presence of polish industrial effluent.Keywords : trace elements, soil thin layer chromatography, polish industrial effluent1. IntroductionIndustrial effluents from different industries leads to inappropriate dumping of solid and liquid wastes ,causes in the detioration of ground water quality (Ogunfowokan and Fakankan,1998;Gupta and Gupta 1999; Bhabindra 2003;Sandeep and Sweta 2008and Mahananda et al.,2010).Every year about 100 million tones of fly ash produced from thermal power plants in India (Jamwal Nidhi 2003), disposal of huge quantity posing great problems due to its limited usage unlike other countries in India its utilization is 15%(sinha and Basu,1998) .Industrial wastes contain toxic substances (Rajaram and Ashutost;2008; Jimena et al.2008; Ogunfowokan et al;2003).
