Citizens Advice Job Pack Please find enclosed: Role Profile Person Specification Terms and Conditions ROLE PROFILE Job title: Development Manager – Citizens Advice Network Date: August 2012 Fixed term contract until 31 August 2013 Band: Professional / Specialist Reporting to: National Network Manager Proficient salary: Up to ￡37,534 plus Essential Car User Allowance. Location: Birmingham Office/Ability to work in Staffordshire, Shropshire and Herefordshire Role purpose: To develop and manage the relationship with a number of assigned bureaux and groups of bureaux, monitoring and evaluating compliance to the membership and other contractual agreements. To be responsible for the delivery of bureau based projects, co-ordinating resources from within Citizens Advice, externally and from the bureau itself, to ensure the agreed outcome is delivered within the agreed timescales and budget. To contribute to the roll out of national programmes and initiatives. Key accountabilities Key elements/Tasks % of Time 1. Network Development Manage a relationship with a number of assigned bureaux/ groups of bureaux, aimed at fostering a close collaborative relationship between Citizens Advice and the CAB network. Provide support to assigned bureaux for their planning and development, including support to develop strategic Bureaux Group structures in line with the overall network development strategy. Hold a positive and open relationship with CEO’s Chairs and Trustees. Use knowledge of bureaux and regular communication to facilitate the early identification of problems and develop action plans to resolve them. Be the key point of contact between colleagues in Citizens Advice and assigned bureaux. Provide support to assigned bureaux as determined by the membership scheme and agreement and the strategic plan. Support bureaux with the roll out of the Citizens Advice service wide strategies (e.g. Channel strategy) and with major national funding streams (e.g. LSC) and othe
