The dust removal system piping is an important part of the system, and is a key component of the largest surface, therefore, the promblem of dust deposition of this part is the worst. The long-term mismanagement of dust removal system’ operation and maintenance, making the accumulation of dust in its inner surface, also known as the pipeline dust. When the dust deposition is serious, the situation will lead to reduced efficiency of dust removal system.This thesis make a study from the physical and chemical properties of the dust in the screening workshop of coal preparation plant, get a understanding on the dangers, characteristics and dispersion of the dust. Meanwhile, make an analysis on the flow force conditions of dust in the screening workshop’ dust pipeline and its affect of the dust trajectory. according to fluid dynamics and phase flow theory and the test data, set up the Simulation model of dust settlement movement discipline, and applicated FLUENT software set up the simulation of the airflow trajectory and dust settlement movement discipline in Coal Preparation plant’s horizontal pipe, vertical pipe, 90 ° elbow pipe section, Finally get the settlement track of different size dust under different airflow speed in the three pipe sections, provided important theoretical basis to enhance dust collection efficiency.Keywords: powder dust；forces acting；trajectories；numerical sim
