AbstractKnowledge organization and classification is important for an intelligent searching system. A metadata model for the intelligence
searching of vegetable supply chain knowledge is proposed based on investigation. The model contains the knowledge of vegetable supply chain
knowledge database, the domain concepts and user classification. It integrates them as a whole. The metadata model is the base of knowledge
sharing and reusing for vegetable supply chain. It formalizes the model by OWL and implements the intelligent searching system.
