But in recent years, some of them challenged the law and ended up in prison, bringing their bright futures into ruins. It is absolutely a heart-breaking fact. It is worth noticing that the phenomenon of college students committing crimes is on the way of increasing, which inevitably arises attention and emphasis from all walks of society. The increasing cases of crimes committed by college students negatively influence their families, schools, society as well as themselves. In this context, the problem brought about by crimes committed by college students need to be solved immediately. Taking consideration of the status quo of crimes committed by college students and based on the previous research achievements and practical experience, this paper starts with an in-depth understanding of the phenomenon of college students committing crimes and a systematical analysis on features of crimes committed by college students. Then it embarks on analyzing causes of crimes committed by college students from angle of family, school, society and college students themselves. In the end, it elaborates on countermeasures against these crimes. It reaches the conclusion that causes of crimes committed by college students lie in family, school, society and themselves. Accordingly, countermeasures shall be introduced in the respect of family, school and society.
