* Receptive skills 1: Reading An approach to a Reading lesson contextualization ( e.g.: using pictures to set the scene of the topic); building interest (e s describing an almost impossible scenario a or sound effects from a story - this can be combined with prediction). * Receptive skills 1: Reading An approach to a Reading lesson Stage 3 Aim: for students to have practice in scan reading skills.This would be a task which requires either skim or scan reading.
