CONSERVATION EASEMENT On Lands of Sheepscot Island Company on MacMahan Island and Turnip Island, situated in the Town of Georgetown, Maine To be Held by __________________ Land Trust ????????????????This INDENTURE, made as of the? ? ? day of ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? 2009, by and between SHEEPSCOT ISLAND COMPANY, a Maine corporation, having its principal office at MacMahan Island, in Georgetown, Sagadahoc County, Maine,? and a mailing address of P.O. Box 692, Bath, ME 04530-0692, (hereinafter referred to as “the Grantor”). and? ____________________ LAND TRUST, a nonprofit corporation, organized and operating in the State of Maine, having its? office at _________________, Maine, (hereinafter referred to as “the Holder”), Witnesseth That: ????????????????WHEREAS: ????????????????1.? The Grantor is the sole owner in fee simple of (a) certain parcels of land situated on MacMahan Island, in Georgetown, Sagadahoc County, Maine, which are more particularly described in Exhibit A, and depicted on Exhibit B,? both attached hereto and made a part hereof, (hereinafter defined and referred to as the “Protected Property”), being portions of the land situated on said MacMahan Island owned by the Grantor, and (b) Turnip Island, an uninhabited island lying south of said MacMahan Island, in said Georgetown, mentioned in Exhibit A, and depicted on Exhibit B, (hereinafter referred to as “Turnip Island”); and ????????????????2.?
