Mainly applied in the ticket management of short-haul rail passenger transportation for the subway, light rail and inter-city rail. Through the network, the system can be networked selling tickets. Meanwhile provide ticket reservation, ticket distribution, user management and many other functions. And be able to provide ticket inquiries, bookings, refunds and other fast, convenient ticket-purchasing channels for the passengers also. This is great significance to promote railway transport development. This text introduced the research background and significance of the railway tickets management system first. Then introduced the development process and its related technology of the railway tickets management system in detail. Put forward the solution of the railway tickets management system by use of Java GUI, database, data structures and other technologies. And distribute the entire system to stage inquiries, booking, refund, background ticketing system, refunding system and system management, and other functional modules by different users.
