Abst ract P le ur ot us ery ng ii is a precious mushroom with tenderized stem and flavourous
taste However there had been no report on its study and culture in China The morphological. , .
characteristics of P le urot us ery ng ii and the effects of environmental factors such as temperature,
humidity, pH, light and air on themycelial growth and the fruiting of P le ur ot us ery ng ii were stud-
ied in the paper. T he results indicated that temperaturewas a key factor to influence theyield sta-
bility of P le urot us ery ng ii when themushroom was cultured in the natural conditions of China the;
optimum temperature for the development of the mushroom was 1018, when the temperature
was below 10or higher than 18, themushroom yield would be significantly affected.
