Methods This was a retrospective review of in-patients treate for brucellosis uring 2 003 an 2 00 8 in our hospital an the associate lit erature. Results A total of 9 cases were inclu e . All the patients ha history of epi emic exposure. The common clinical presentations inclu e fever, hyperhi rosis an w eakness. Meningit is, arthralgia, urinary tract infection, orchitis or migratory myalgia was i entifie in one patient each. Five patients ha posit ive bloo culture. All 9 cases were posit ive for serum antibo - ies. All cases were cure after act ive me ical management. Conclusions T he clinical manifestat ion of brucellosis is various. Ep-i emiological feat ure combine w ith long-term fever of unknow n origin may suggest the possibility of brucellosis. Bloo culture an serum antibo y assay are effective iagnostic t ools.
