Lesson Planning and Practice of Different Types of English Classroom Teaching Components of a Lesson Plan Teaching Aims The first thing to do in lesson planning is to decide the aims of a lesson, which includes: 1) what language components to present, 2) what language skills to practice, 3) when activities to conduct and 4) what materials and teaching aids to be used.
