Correspondent : ZHAN G J ianghui , Email : zhangjianghui7 1 @ sina . com) Abstract : The consumption st ruct ure of zinc p roduct s from 1990 to 2004 in China is analyzed , for which t he weighted averaging met hod is given to calculate t he average service life of zine p roduct s. The result indicates t hat t he average service life of t he zinc p roduct s in China increased year by year in recent year s on t he whole because of t he greatly increasing outp ut of galvanized p roduct s and copper p roduct s. The calculation reveals t hat t he dep reciation/ recovery period of t he zinc p roduct s in China is 20 year s. Thus , a dat a foundation is offered to calculate t he cyclic consumption of zinc and p redict t he develop ment al t rend of zinc p roduct s.
