Abstract SMEs are to ensure stable economic development of any country. Nowadays, in developed countries, the contribution of SMEs in GDP is over than 50%, and their share of all number of business accounted for more than 90%. In recent years, especially after the World financial crisis, SMEs in the economy revealed a pivotal role assertive. China and Belarus are also aware of its indispensable position, decision-makers to pay more attention turned to SMEs take many measures to support its rapid and healthy development. Belarus and Chinas economy is completely different, but their history of development has their own characteristics. Comparative study of the SME’s development of Belarus and China, can not only help the two countries to better understand each other, but also provide a good reference for future joint development of them. In this paper, expert evaluation and statistical data on the development of the situation in Belarus and Chinas SMEs, the role and contribution to the national economy, the countrys comparative analysis, the content is divided into five parts: The first part of this paper clearly articulated research background, purpose and meaning, carding Belarus and China research literature on SMEs, mainly on existing achievements systems analyzed.
