Step 1. Warm-up
1. Greeting
T: Good afternoon, boys and girls!
Ss: Good afternoon, teacher!
T: How are you , boys and girls?
Ss: I’m fine, thanks. How are you?
T: I’m OK. Sit down, please.
2. T: Give some hands to welcome the teachers !
Step 2. Lead-in
1. Let’s guess!
Teacher show a box for students, and let them guess: What things are in the box?
(show some objects) T: Guess, what’s this ?
Ss: It’s a pen. ( a pencil, an eraser, etc.)
T: What’s this?
Ss: It’s a ping-pong ball.
T: I have a ping-pong ball. Do you have a ping-pong ball?
Step 3. Presentation
T: OK. Now, let’s learn the new lesson—Unit 5 Do you have a soccer ball?
Let’s join the sports club! Let’s go!
1. Learn the new words.
T: Look at the screen. What’s this?
Ss: It’s a ping-pong ball.
T: And what’s this?
