When the input is converging light, the output light comprises three hollow frustums of cones, and the cross-section is three rings. The input-output phenomenon is called the three-ring effect. This paper introduces the formula for the three-ring effect and its contribution to the signal and stray lights. Based on the analysis of stray light, we present a new method for the elimination of stray light in the end output. Therefore, the transmittance of the fiber cladding at the end face is zero.
