梁思成生平简介（A brief biography of Liang Sicheng） Liang Sicheng (1901-1972) a famous architectural educator in modern China, the protection and research of ancient architecture and cultural relics, and the architectural historian. Xinhui County, Guangdong Province, Liang Qichaos eldest son. The failure of the reform movement of 1898 Liang Qichao exile in Japan, Liang Sicheng was born on April 20, 1901 in Japan and Tokyo, with his father in 1912. He died in Beijing in January 9, 1972. He graduated from Qinghua University in 1923 and studied architecture in the world for 1924-1927 years at the University of Pennsylvania School of studies. In 1928, he returned to China and founded the Department of architecture of Northeastern University and served as Dean of the Department. He was one of the pioneers of Architectural Education in china. 1933-1946, director of the French group Chinese building. In 1934, he was appointed member of the Central Committee for preservation of antiquities in the national government, and served as deputy director of the theater Cultural Relics Protection Committee of the Ministry of education of the national government in 1944. In 1946, he founded the Department of Architecture (Construction Department) of Tsinghua University and served as Dean until his death. He also served as a fellow of the Central Committee, an associate professor at the Yale University, a honorary doctor of literature at the University of Prince and a member of the United Nations building design committee. Since 1949, he has served as deputy director of the Municipal Planning Commission of Peiping and deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Construction Commission, vice chairman of Beijing Municipal Committee of CPPCC and Standing Committee of the npc.
