Teaching Aims Contents Teaching Steps Methods Time Distribution Warm-up Teaching Aims : Let the students know something about Logistics. Contents: Match the words or expressions in the box with the pictures. 1. Warm-up Let the students discuss about logistics in groups, the students who know something about logistics should introduce it in English to those who don’t know it.(Try to list some branches of Logistics which is combined with real life so that the students can know it better.) 2. Class Activities (1) Ask the students to describe the pictures and match the words or expressions with the pictures.(To know the branches and function of Logistics.) (2) Ask the students to work in groups to discuss what is involved in logistics. The teacher may give the suggested words or expressions.(Let students grasp the general idea about Logistics through pre-reading.) 3. Class Work Design: Teaching Procedure Knowledge Involved Focal Points Warm-up (3-5 minutes) Discussion Encourage the students to express their own ideas freely. Main Reading Tasks (10-15 minutes) 1. Discussion Give the students several minutes to discuss the process of transportation and the importance of it. Give the students questions, ask them to read with the questions.
