When Harry and Holly were younger
Seven months old
When Harry was seven months old, he could crawl. Holly could not crawl when she was seven months old.
Two years old
When Harry and Holly were two, they could put on their shoes by themselves. But sometimes, Harry put on the wrong shoes.
Harry could eat by himself when he was two. He could eat with a spoon but Holly could not. We had to feed her when she was two.
Four years old
Harry and Holly could tie their shoelaces when they were four years old. But Harry was very careless. Sometimes, he tied both shoes together and could not walk.
Five years old
Holly’s hair was long. She could not comb her hair when she was five. The comb always stuck in her hair and she could not get it out. Harry’s hair was short. He could comb his hair when he was five.
Harry could not button his shirt when he was five. Holly could button her blouse quickly.
Six years old
Harry and Holly could carry their school bags by themselves when they were six. But they could not pack their school bags very well. We always helped them put their books into their school bags.
