Discuss places of interest in our city and design a travel leaflet 能力目标 1．Let students read the passage Shangri-la to develop their reading ability 2．Organize the information they searched from the Internet and complete the travel leaflet 3．Cooperate with other students actively in their group and express feelings freely 情感目标 1. Experience the beauty of Shangri-la and learn about the culture of other places 2. Broaden students’ minds and have a better understanding of the city we live in. 四．教学重难点 Try to help the students to improve their English by making a travel leaflet 五．教材分析　　　 The topic of this unit is adventure and travel. To improve students’ skills and ability, they need to: Read an informer letter about an adventure and a travel leaflet about Shangri-la; listen for specific dates and place names; discuss a travel plan by asking and answering questions; write an e-mail about a family holiday; expand vocabulary about adventure and travel. Through this activities, students will learn more about different cultures：Grasslands of Africa, Brazilian rainforest, the River Nile, Shangri-la and the history, geography or customs of Zhangjiajie, Jinan, Mt Tai…… As for this topic, we can find lots of great information on the Internet.
