Based on the normal mathematical model of the new converter transformer and the principle of additive process which can build the network equation ，and combined with the digraph of the new con－ verter transformer ，this paper amended the correlative contribution of faulty branches to calculate all kinds of longitu－ dinal and asymmetric faults in the new converter transformer according to the types of longitudinal and asymmetric faults.
