This kind of intimate relationship makes human love, sympathy, disgust, fear and other emotions of perplexing animal, people often borrow from animal sustenance and expression of human feelings, so in the two different cultures have lots and lots of animal related words. Words of the language reflect differences in cultural development, influenced by history, customs, values, religious beliefs and other aspects of the cultural factors, both in English and Chinese language gives animal words in their particular cultural connotation. As everyone knows, in different languages and different cultural backgrounds, each word has a literal meaning (denotation), and the rich cultural connotation (cultural connotation), which implied the word with associative meaning, metaphorical meaning, symbolic meaning and emotional commendatory and derogatory. Many animals in the same language have different cultural connotations in different languages. For example, the goat brand alarm clock produced in China is of good quality and sells well in the international market. But no one in Britain is interested in the term trademark.
