Methods the patients with sick sinus syndrome without other evidence of organic heart disease, in the placement of VVI pacemaker, to control for atrial fibrillation in 15 cases, 15 cases had no difference compared with the occurrence of chronic atrial fibrillation ventricular rate in patients with better control of tolerance and quality of life in sports. The basic heart rate, AF group first level after exercise heart rate and maximum heart rate were significantly higher than those in control group (82.75 + 16.72 and 63.07 + 6.42 / min, P0.01; 114.08 + 12.03 and 82.67 + 12.03 / min, P0.01; 152.17 + 42.32 and 96.25 + 18.49 / min, P0.01). The duration of exercise and metabolic equivalents in the two groups were similar (15.10 + 2.92 and 15.78 + 2.53min, P0.05; 8.08 + 1.73 and 8.25 + 1.22 MET, P0.05). There was no significant difference in the quality of life scores between the AF group and the control group.
