SECTION 14600 BRIDGE CRANES PART 1 - GENERAL 1.01 SCOPE: A. Summary of Work: This section covers furnishing all labor, equipment and material to furnish and install top running, single-girder bridge crane and under-hung running trolley and hoist. B. Equipment List: 1. Bridge Crane – Indoors. C. Operating and Dimensional Data: 1. Hoisting speed: 16 fpm 2. Trolley speed: 80 fpm 3. Bridge speed: 100 fpm 4. Capacity: 5 tons 5. Total lift distance, as measured from lowest station floor elevation to underside of bridge girder: 15’-0” 6. Nominal Span : 17’-6” 7. Height of lowest overhead obstruction, measured from underside of bridge girder: 1’- 10” 8. Maximum acceptable length of end trucks: 8’-0” D. CONTRACTOR and manufacturer shall verify span against structural drawings and actual site conditions prior to fabrication of bridge crane. E. Items to be furnished by the CONTRACTOR shall include, but not be limited to, the following: 1. Bridge crane, trolley and hoist, and all accessories as required for a complete, and fully functional system, as specified herein 2. Conductor bars, conductor supports and all fasteners F.
