In earl y studi es, th e so luti on o f shaped charge prob lem s has bee n obt ained by using anal yti ca l meth od s. However, over th e past decade , num eri cal meth ods based on fi nite difference and finite e leme nt meth ods are used fo r simulating thi s complex process. In thi s study, th e e ffects of va ry ing parameters (coni ca l liner apex angle and expl osive igniti on place) are in vesti gated by a num eri cal modelling of th e shaped charge perfo rm ed using th e Dyna2D hydrodynamic code.
