Abstract:CFD (computationalfluiddynamics)methodisappliedtoresearchtheinfluenceofair-
flow unif0rmityovertheductoutletofvehicleair-conditiononcoolingperformance.Considering
thesolarradiationandbodyheatdissipation,thecoolingprocessesoftwoairflowswiththesame
fluxanddifferentuniformi~aresimulated.TheresultshowsthattheairflowwithhigherunIform
isbeneficialtocoolingperformanceandthermalcomfortbycomparingthecoolingtime,flow field
andtemperaturedistribution.Thereasonsarealsoanalyzedusingthesubmergedturbulentjet
