Keywords: single line (1-Wire) time slot A/D transform The single line digital temperature sensor DS182 produced by American DALLAS company can convert the temperature signals into serial digital signals for microcomputer processing. Because each DS1820 contains a unique silicon serial number of the dead so a bus can be connected to any number of DS1820 chips. The information read from the DS1820 or the information written to the DS1820 requires only one line of mouth (single line interface). The read, write, and temperature conversion power comes from the data bus, and the bus itself can also supply power to the attached DS1820 without additional power. The DS1820 provides nine bit temperature readings to form a multipoint temperature detection system without any peripheral hardware.
