The Mysterious Mainland In fact, the “Rubbish Kingdom” is not a really new mainland, it is an island. But this island’maker is not earth and trees, it is rubbish. People throwing rubbish into the sea, and water takes millions of rubbish sailing in the central sea, later and later, this island showed up. The central thickness of this island is thirty meters, equivalent to ten floors. And its area is very big: thirty billion Square Kilometers, equivalent to six French areas. It’s more amazing. Earth, Our Only Home Human beings live on Earth more than four million years. We live everywhere. We are both without Earth, but now, people are polluting the Earth, if we do not stop to protect our environment, our Earth will die and organisms in Earth will all die out ! According to many experts, human beings do not discover a planet like Earth, and human beings cannot live on another plant. So we should protect our only home — the Earth. Earth hour The global community has rallied to show it is united in its commitment to a sustainable future, with hundreds of millions of people, in more than 5,000 cities, in 135 countries and territories across the globe taking part in Earth Hour 2011. And it doesn’t stop when the lights come back on. This year, Earth Hour is asking people to take the next step and go beyond the hour, by committing
