F inally, large additional internal force s m ay be app lied in the structu re and the safety of the structure w ill be endangered. The influence of largearea ground loading on the indu strial bu ilding structu re is analyzed by a detailed examp le, and in sp ection con tents and the asse ssm en t m ethod for that indu strial bu ilding structu re are introduced. The adverse influence of largearea ground loading shou ld be e stim ated before the function of existing indu strial bu ildings is changed. In order to determ ine whether the settlem ents tend to be stab le, it is strongly sugge sted to comp are the calcu lated and in sp ected value of the settlem ents of the bu ilding in u se due to largearea ground loading in the p erform ance asse ssm ent. Mo st important of all, the influence of additional uneven settlem ents of footings of the bu ilding shou ld be taken into accoun t. Key word s: largearea ground lo
