School of Electrical Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an 710049, China) Abstract:In allusion to the lack of accuracy of reactive power measurement methods at present under the condition of non-sinusoidal and asymmetry, this paper puts forward a reactive power measurement theory which is applicable to three-phase three-line system under the condition of non-sinusoidal and asymmetry based on Fryze’s reactive power theory in time-domain. According to Fryze’s reactive power theory in time-domain, three-phase instantaneous current can be decomposed into active current component and reactive current component. Then, the value and direction of reactive power of each harmonic can be achieved by FFT analysis on three-phase instantaneous voltage and reactive current component so as to realize the accurate measurement of reactive power of three-phase three-line system under the condition of non-sinusoidal and asymmetry. In this method, the reactive power is divided into positive reactive power and negative reactive power to avoid the offset of inductive reactive power and capacitive reactive power under different harmonic frequency generated by the same harmonic source which is finally verified by Matlab simulation and provides theory basis for accurate measurement of reactive power under the condition of non-sinusoidal and as
