We often do not appreciate its existence until we lose it. Interpretation of Quotations Wishing to be friends is quick work, but friendship is a slow-ripening fruit. -- Aristotle A good wish to make friends may come to our minds easily and quickly, but establishing a true friendship takes a long time and efforts, in the same way as a fruit slowly ripens.
