The Map of Canada 1. If one has to use words to describe Canada, they might be large and diverse. 2.With a total land area of 9,976,140 square kilometres, Canada is the second largest country in the world just behind Russia. 3. A nation from sea to sea, it is bordered by three oceans: the Pacific to the west, the Arctic to the north, and the Atlantic to the east. The Pacific Region( also called the West Coast) includes Canadas westermost province, British Columbia. This region is known for its mild coastal climate, its forests, and its mountains, most notably Rockies. British Columbia (BC for short) is one of the more urbanized province od Canada, with about three-quarters of its residens living in cities. And walking through the streets of Vancouver, the largest city in SC, is like walking a globle village--you see people from almost every corner of the world.  Vancouver is on the Pacific coast , in the southwestern corner of British Columbia. But, one should avoid going to Vancouver in wintertime because of the rain in winter. If a person can stay clam on hearing Todays forecast--showers follwed by rain and Tomorrows forecast--rain followed by showers, he must be a Vancouverite! It houses a large amount of exhibits of art and artefaces from cultures around the world, with an emphasis on the work of the First Nation people (第一民族）in British Columbia.The collection of totem poles and wood carvings here is propably the best of its kind in the world. The city has a tradition of growing elaborate gardens--a tradition the locals take pride in.Wandering through the splendors and colours of the Butchart Gardens(布查特花园），one cannt help taking notice of the blessed life people in this part of Canada lead.
