Lack of humanistic caliber will not only affect university student’s own development, but also the future of the nation. Therefore, it is very important for a polytechnic university to precisely understand the current position of its student’s humanistic caliber. Due to some historical reasons, in a long period after the foundation of the Republic, our development was focused on industries. To achieve this goal, a large number of professionals were needed to fulfil the demand by the development of socialism. Because of this imperative demand, polytechnic education was much preferred.
