英汉对比分析在高中英语写作教学中的应用研究毕业论文
A b str a c t
In sen ior m iddle schools, students often feel w orried about English w riting and
som e even lose h eart in it, w h ich affects their E nglish scores. It is a h eadache for
students and teach ing E nglish w riting is difficu lt for teachers as w ell. T h erefore, it is
necessary to study how to im prove the students w riting com petence. In order to solve
this prob lem , the author tries to app ly contrastive analysis theory into E nglish w riting
in senior h igh school.
A s early as 1945,C harles Fries believed that the description of the target language
in com parison w ith that of the m other tongue can m ake contribution to the
preparation of the teach ing m aterials. W ith som e other scholars study, contrastive
analysis theory w as developed and had taken on new sign ificance. T he author
introduced four training w ays of contrastive analysis into the experim ent for students,
to stim u late their insp iration and broaden their m ind.
Th is experim ent w as started in Septem ber 20 10 and finished in June 20 11. T he
subjects of th e experim ent w ere 107 students from tw o classes of T ianjin N o.90
M iddle School. T he em p irical instrum ents included tw o questionnaires, a pre-test and
a post-test as w ell as interv iew s. B y analyzing questionnaire rep lies, the author found
out som e students w riting prob lem s. T he English w riting ab ility of the tested students
w as of no obvious difference. A fter tw o sem esters experim ent, the author analyzed
the collected data by P aired-Sam p le t-test. T he resu lt show ed that there w ere great
differences betw een the Experim ental C lass and the C ontrol C lass (hereinafter called
E C and C C for short).
A fter tw o sem esters experim ent, the scores of the posttest of the students in E C
