Abstract : As one of BIM design softwares ，ArchiCAD breaks the traditional 2D design idea and
displays all the information in project with 3D mode． Because of the powerful relevance of information ，
ArchiCAD can avoid the defects of AutoCAD in blueprint error and profession cooperation in printing
stage． ArchiCAD is less used in the design of WWTPs in China． On the one hand ，the defects of the soft-
ware are not conductive to the industry promotion ，on the other hand ，it is difficult for related professions
and related units to break the traditional design procedure． With the development of BIM idea and
