Para. 2 People in favor of the former opinion always provide the following evidence. In the first place, some students lack adequate self-control and self-disciple so that they are likely to indulge in net surfing or computer games. Furthermore, without being looked after by their parents, these students especially girls are in a very dangerous society which are filled with violence and obscene materials and these bad things can be a negative influence in developing value systems and shaping behavior. For example, maybe they cannot resist the temptation of drugs and fall victims to drug-dealers. Last but not least, since the students are in their formative year, the whole world’s contacts may expose them to social ills at an age when they can not tell virtue from evil. But these things couldn’t happen if the students live at home.
