Taiwan Businessmen’s Dongguan School Cambridge Young Learners English Year 2013 1st Semester Syllabus Outline __ Grade年級: 4 Teaching Targets: Can recognize and use correct family calls. Can understand and use comparative degree of adjectives. Know the vocabulary of each month and use these words to make sentences. Can read and spell numbers, one to one hundred. Know the name and flag of certain countries and make sentences “One is from .” and “Where is one from?” Learn the verb phrase and use sentence pattern “One like(s) V-ing.” to write sentence. Can use possessive case to organize sentences. Understand the meaning and usage of present progressive tense. Know the grammar that when the subject is the third person and singular, the verb in the simple present sentence must add –s or –es. Can use do/does to make negative sentence and question. Can use the frequency adverbs correctly.
