New Ar - chaeology is the first school with independent theoretical contributions in the history of archaeology. The model building process exactly represents the scientific feature of New Archaeology, rather than an idealistic and unpromising one. Addi - - - - tionally, Binford had established new paradigms in both the study of hunter gatherer societies and Ethno archaeology.
