PAGE  Study Visit to Shanghai and Suzhou from 25-28 February 2004 The Hong Kong Shippers’ Council is organizing a logistics study visit to the Shanghai and Suzhou of the Eastern China. The Yangtze River Delta is one of the fastest growing region in the world in manufacturing and logistics activities. The visit will assist Hong Kong shippers and transport operators to identify business opportunities and learn about the latest port developments, transport infrastructure and logistics services available in the region. The trip includes visits to Shanghai Yangshan ports(大小洋山碼頭), Shanghai Logistics Park(上海物流園), Shanghai Airport(上海機場), Kunshan Industrial Park(昆山工業園), Taicang Terminal(太滄碼頭), Suzhou Industrial Park(蘇州工業園), and Suzhou Hi-Tech Development District(蘇州高新技術開發區). The visit also includes meeting with local authorities, logistics users and manufacturers. A visit programme is listed below. The cost of the four-day visit is HK$ 7500 per person which includes return airfare, local transportation, tour guides, all meals and single room accommodation in deluxe 5-Star hotels in Shanghai and Suzhou.
