He is both a master of humor and a great novelist and establishes a new milestone for America and the world in the field of literature. As the masterpiece of Mark Twain, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn marks the climax of Twain’s literary creativity. Hemingway once described the novel the one book from which “all modern American literature comes.” For more than one century, this novel has been listed in the canon of great novels. Works and articles of criticism on this novel have been numerous. On the textual analysis of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, this paper is intended to study the writing Styles of Mark Twain. In this novel, one of the most successful writing styles is a combination of colloquial language and satire. At the same time, the novel is also noted for its unpretentious, poetic style, wide-ranging humor, and its universally shared dream of perfect innocence and freedom. All these writing styles have been analyzed in this paper.
