An analysis of current situations and relevant problems of first-year students’ listening comprehension Abstract As the most primary means of language input, listening plays a key role in the perception and learning of language, it is regarded as an important means and the main purpose of language learning as well. Good listening ability is the foundation of learning English. After understanding and analyzing current situations and relevant problems of first-year students’ listening comprehension in No.1 Junior Middle School in Ximing, the author offered some proper suggestions for the students to improve their listening ability. At the same time, this paper also guided some tips for middle school teachers to help the students solve those problems and enhance their listening comprehension. Key words: middle school students; listening skills; teaching suggestions 摘要听力是语言输入的主要途径之一，也是学生感知语言和学习语言的重要途径，它既是语言学习的手段，也是语言学习的目的。良好的英语听力是学好英语的前提和基础。笔者通过了解和分析西鸣六中初一年级学生在英语听力学习中的现状与问题，提出了一些相应的听力策略。同时，笔者也针对教师提出了帮助学生消除听力障碍的教学方法，以便提升学生听力学习的能力。关键词：初一年级学生; 英语听力问题;英语听力技巧; 听力教学建议 Contents 1.
