Unit Eight Fable of the Lazy Teenager About the title: What is a fable? Fables are short tales not based on facts and intended to give moral guidance, which readers need to deduce(推论). (Fables do not state the moral lessons) Leading to the text: In the first part of the text, the author brings up a problem: idleness and ignorance among a great many U.S. teenagers. In the second part he offers a fable trying to teach a lesson. What can we learn from the unit?
