U sing the CAD /CAE /CAM integrat ive function o fUG, according to d ie industry standard of Chi na and citing the funct ion oriented thought, the design schem e and system arch itecture of the library is g iven based on the design requ irem ent of an autom ob ile factory, and the process o f establish ing the library is show n through the punch design exam ple. In th is designed standard parts library, the parts are successfully ca lled and assemb led, and the tem plate design for the whole automobile panel d ie structure is fin ished, sim plifying the design process and im prov ing the design effic iency.
