BODEGAS VALDUBóN S. L. D.O. Ribera del Duero SURFACE: D.O. Ribera del Duero zone is centred around the town of Aranda de Duero in the province of Burgos, with parts of it in the Soria province to the east and Valladolid to the west. The total registered hectares are 2,300 planted mostly with Tinta del País grapes (Tempranillo). The registered number of vine growers is 7,548 amongst 250 wineries. D.O. Ribera del Duero 占地规模: D.O. In high summer, daytime temperatures may reach 39°-40oC, but this can be followed by a big temperature drop during the night of as much as 15° or 20° . Hence the danger of frosts at the beginning and end of the season. The average temperature is 11o C. The average rain is 450 mm/m2. The vine quite literally “chills out” overnight. When the sun comes up, the nutrients it would have consumed are still in the soil, waiting to be passed on to where they really need to be: inside the grapes themselves. D.O. Ribera del Duero “La Tinta (Tempranillo)” “Valdubón is progressing, trying to get the best of each vineyard, keeping the grapes separately from different plots in order to adapt the elaboration and the ageing to the characteristics shown by each fruit.
