If you have a chance to travel, which city/ country do you want to go? What countries in the world do you know? (eg. The USA , the UK, Japan) Step 2. Presentation 1.Show a map of the world and some pictures of the places of interest in the world and ask: Do you know where they are? Look at this mountain. What is its name? What country is it in? 2.Present the new words: 3.Encourage the Ss to say more places of interest and the countries they are in.(eg. Italy, Canada, Australia, Germany) 4.Have the Ss look at the pictures in Part A on P7 and finish the exercise. Step 3.Presentation 1.Show a picture of Tian’anmeng Square and talk with a student like this: T: What country is it in, do you know? S: It’s in China. T: What city is it in? S: It’s in Beijing.
