Unit2 Reading Good afternoon, every one. My name is.... It is my great honor to stand here to present my lesson. I will talk about Reading Maybe you should learn to relax Go for it Junior English Book . To make my presentation clearer, I will explain my lesson plan in the following parts Part One: Analysis of the teaching material Reading teaching is a very important part in English teaching. But students first read so long reading .it is very difficult. So they need to enlarge knowledge about relax and reading skill to develop their ability. Ⅰ Teaching aims Knowledge aims: Master the key words and phrases; make their own sentences with it. Ability aims: Improve reading ability and comprehension; train students to teach themselves. Emotion aims: Learn to plan lives for themselves; arouse the interest of studying English. Ⅱ Teaching important points and difficulties Master the usage of the key words and phrases; understand the whole article and talk about their own opinions. Ⅲ Teaching methods Questions-and-Answer activity; groupwork.prediction,scanning, Ⅳ Teaching aids A tape recorder; a ppt Ⅴ Teaching procedures Step 1 Greeting Step 2.Lead-in(ppt) Ask：Are you busy in a week? What do you do after school? Show pictures and practice Do you …after school? Then tell students:No matter what after-school activities you do, you should learn to relax! Purpose:It is important to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss by pictures .It provides situations to review learned knowledge and lead into the next step. Step 3 Presentation Show pictures and learn the new words. What pressures do they have? compare His father often compares him with other children. Push activities His parents Push es him so hard. They ask him to do many after-school activities . Complain competition She doesn’t want to _ Complain about school, But_ competition _is everywhere in Chinese Schools freedom under pressure
