The average length of fibers of six variation types was all longer than 1.6mm, and longer than that of Moso except for ‘Luohanci’. The maximum frequency of fiber length distribution of ‘Cizhu’, ‘Neosinocalamus affinis cv. flavidorivens’ and ‘Shetouci’, was in 2-3mm, and that of other variations was in 1-2 mm. The average length-width ratio of different variations except for ‘Luohanci’ was all bigger than 100, and bigger than that of Moso. The average wall-lumen ratio of all variations was from 1.77 to 3.96, and all smaller than that of Moso. Longitudinally, the variation rules of fiber length, width, and length-width ratio and lumen of all variation types, were different due to different bamboos, but that of fiber wall thickness and wall-lumen ratio were similar. Radically, the variation rules of all fiber morphological indexes of all variation types were similar, and the length and lumen of fibers in the inner part of culm wall were all
