Record the result of measurement for each 2 second. Upload the data to PC via USB. Display ON/OFF Button: This button is used to turn on or turn off the display of the screen. To close the screen’s display, push this button. And push it again, the LCD will be displayed. The user can turn off the display of the LCD when it is needlessly to monitor. Temperature And Moisture Switch Button: This button is used to switch the type of display temperature result or moisture result . Data Record Button: Push this button to begin to record the data of measurement into EEPROM. And push it again to finish the data record. The result can be transmitted to computer by USB. System Reset Button: Reset the microcontroller when the system failure is happened. Technical Description Power Supply Circuitry: The temperature and moisture monitor will be powered from 6 volts DC. Can be supplied by DC power or battery. System power and LCD power will be regulated at 5 volts with a regulator. Sensor Unit: This device used SHT10 digital temperature and humidity sensor to collect these two different measure results and transmit to the microcontroller. Technical Features: Energy consumption: 80uW? at 12bit, 5V, 1 measurement?/ s humidity range: 0?– 100% RH Temperature range: -40?– +125°C -40?–?+257°F Output: digital 2-wire interface The SCK pin is used to synchronize the communication between microcontroller and SHT10. The DATA tri-state pin is used to transfer data in and out of the sensor. LCD Display circuitry: To display the measurement which measured by sensor unit. Use an alphanumeric 2 line of 16 characters LCD because there are two different of measurement need to display. Optimum working voltage is 5V.
