Part One Preparation (about 50mins)
1.Background Information(about 10mins)
There are various concepts of time in the world, and as has been proved that different cultures have drastically different concepts of time. Urban cultures are governed by the clock, to the extent that their members tend to keep their appointments, but some urban cultures are more time-urgent than others. Rural cultures are governed by the weather, the seasons, and the sun. so their concepts of time tend to be cyclic rather than linear. At planting or harvest times may be very time-urgent, but at other times they may simply sit patiently watching the sunset and waiting for the season to change.
2.Class Activities (about 30mins)

1) Idioms:
Time is money. Time will tell if we are right.
Time heals most troubles. Lost time is never found again.
Time and tide wait for no man. Time works wonders.
Question: what can you get from the above idioms.
2) Read the poem and answer the following two questions.
Time is too slow for those we wait,
Too swift for those who fear,
Too long for those who grieve,
Too short for those who rejoice
But for those who love, time is eternity.
