Remote Control Reference Design
1 Introduction
nRF24.L01 is a new single-chip radio transceiver device operating in the 2.4 GHz ~ 2.5 GHz ISM band. Built-in frequency synthesizer, power amplifier, crystal oscillator, modulator and other functional modules, and incorporates enhanced Shock Burst technology, which the output power and communication channels can be configured through the process. nRF24L01 low power consumption, in order to -6 dBm launch power, operating current of only 9 mA; receiver, the operating current of only 12.3 mA, a variety of low-power mode (power-down mode and Idle mode) to more convenient energy-saving design . nRF24L01 main features are as follows: GFSK Modulation: OSI link layer hardware integration; with automatic answer and automatic re-launch function; chip automatically generated header and CRC check code; data transfer rate of l Mb / s or 2Mb / s; SPI rate is 0 Mb / s ~ 10 Mb / s; 125 channels: nRF24 series of other RF devices compatible; QFN20 pin 4 mm × 4 mm Package; supply voltage of 1.9 V ~ 3.6 V.
nRD24H1 is a reference design for the nRF24L01 general purpose radio chip. The purpose of this document is to help with the design of RF based remote controls operating in the worldwide 2.4GHz ISM band. Based on this reference design you will be able to design one-way and two-way remote controls that are not limited by line-of-sight conditions. This reference design also provides valuable design suggestions for other applications with comparable data rates.2 System Overview The reference design consists of complete design files (schematics, layout, Gerber, BOM data and source code) for a USB receive dongle, an RF module and, an application board.
